Luxury Country House in Marche - Italy

Property Description

In a haven of rest and relaxation, close to the Verdicchio, Rosso Conero and Bianchello vineyards, surrounded by nature where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there is a place of pure enjoyment.

The Main House

After a few years of careful restoration, finally in 2010 this lovely property was brought to a new, magnificent life.

The original structure dates back to the 12th century (or maybe earlier) and originally it was an important parish church, later converted into a farm. To substantiate this argument, there is the old chapel, attached to the house, where you can see its bell tower, still perfectly preserved.

The total area of the main casale is about 507 sq.m. and it is typically constructed, as featured by the central turet, where a cozy and private apartment with beautiful views has been built.

The main entrance leads to the spacious and bright private apartment. You enter via a portico and from here you can reach several areas of the house: on the right there is a big and comfortable living room, with direct exit to the garden; on the left there is the dining room, directly connected to the fully equipped kitchen; in a central position with respect to the entrance, there is the big studio, which could be also used as an additional living room.

In a completely separate and private position, there is the massive master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom. The bedroom and the bathroom are directly connected via an arch with no door, to give a feeling of wide space. The bathroom enjoys a bathtub and, behind a partition wall, there is also a shower.

Stepping up to the first floor, you can find 2 additional bedrooms – very spacious and luminous – both with en-suite bathroom.

The private apartment, as well as the whole house, was restored bringing back to life all the stones and using, as much as possible, the original materials, as the tiles and the wood beams, to give the house the real original look it used to have in the past.

The main building enjoys 3 additional apartments, all with independent entrance.

Apartment – 80 square meters

It develops on 2 floors: on the ground floor a lovely living room and a kitchen have been built. On the first floor, there are 2 spacious bedrooms with views and a bathroom with shower.

Apartment – 110 square meters

It develops on 2 floors: on the ground floor there is a living room with french window leading out to the garden. Separately there is a big kitchen. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms both with en-suite bathroom, one with shower and one with tub.

Apartment – 70 square meters

This is a kind of loft on the top floor (the turret), with beautiful views all over the surrounding countryside. During clear days it is possible to see the sea.

The apartment is composed by an open-plan kitchen and living room, directly connected through an arch to the double bedroom and to the bathroom with shower. It could also be easily converted into a studio, hobby room or reading room, where you can find some peace and full silence. It is already connected to the main private apartment via the main internal staircase.

The Chapel

Attached to the house, there is a small private chapel, currently unrestored and that could be converted for several purposes. For example it could be ideal for those, who are planning to rent the property for weddings, as the chapel could be used for a romantic ceremony and then enjoy the wedding party in the garden and by the landscaped pool.

The Annex

Close to the main house, there is an annex very well and cleverly restored as it is useful for several purposes.

Facing the swimming pool, there is the entrance to the 5th apartment. On the right there is an open-plan kitchen and living room: this space is quite interesting as it enjoys a double height ceiling, which gives a very airy look to the room. Thanks to big windows, plenty of light is guaranteed. In this room there is a mezzanine that could be used as a bedroom or a studio.

Opposite the living area, there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. A guest bathroom with shower is placed in between.

At the back of the building there is a storage for the gardening tools and also a summer kitchen has been built, so that you can have wonderful dinners out in the garden or by the pool, with no need to use the internal kitchen.

The Garden and the Land
