Along one of the main streets of Urbino, where many important historic buildings from the Renaissance are standing in front of you, you can notice just one single small balcony. Being the only one along the street, it makes the apartment it belongs to extremely unique. Today, that exclusive noble apartment can be yours.
As you step in the property, you’ll immediately be in the condo courtyard with a well from the 1500s, looking up to the sky.
The apartment is placed on the noble floor and it is characterized by unique elements as fresco ceilings and wood beams, that contribute making the property grand.
As you step in the apartment you can find, on your right, a large dining room with fireplace and an original wood ceiling from the 1500s and a stone pointed arch. In the same area, there are also a kitchenette and a bathroom.
On the opposite side there is a lovely reception lounge with fresco ceilings in excellent conditions. It’s from this small lounge that you can exit the terrace and observe the comings and goings of everyday life.
Besides, you can find the formal living room with fireplace, where you can enjoy moments of relax while chatting and having a cup of tea with your guests. A beautiful original coat of arms of Urbino, is hanging on the wall, to remind the greatness of the city.
On the opposite side there is a studio with frescoed ceiling, a master bedroom and a storage room.
On a lower level there are two large double bedrooms and a big bathroom.
To be noticed that the fresco painted on the ceiling of the small lounge, is identical to the one in Teatro Raffaello in Urbino, so it’s probably from the same painter.
Urbino, a UNESCO Heritage Site since 1998 has a lot to offer in terms of art, culture and history. It is considered one of the cradles of Reinassance in Italy and some of the best Italian universities are placed here.
